Brew Date
« on: March 05, 2011, 09:24:20 AM »
1. The brew date is required and it should not be a requirement.  A recipe should have non-date option to indicate it was not brewed.
2. the earliest brew date year you can enter is 1601.  This produces garbage for the year.  The earliest valid date is 1971.  This should be locked to prevent corruption.  If an older date is used, it does get "fix" to the current dat when you reopen the recipe.

I have the same complaint. Sometimes when I am working on developing a recipe I don't want to select a brewday date.
Beer is like porn. You can buy it, but it's more fun to make your own.
