Title: Plugged carbonation stone

I purchased a new .5m carbonation stone and keg lid for force carbonation in my 5 gallon kegs.  The stone worked great for 2 or 3 times but now seems to be plugged.  Is this a common problem?  Can they be cleaned?  Any other thoughts why it is not performing as when it was new?  Thank you.

SImmer it in a pan of water for a few minutes. At the end of the boil pump air through it as the water cools down a bit..
