Title: Beersmith recipe profile adjustment
Post by: laithclark on June 16, 2021, 02:03:53 PM
I'm hoping someone maybe able to tell me how to adjust my recipe profile to help its accuracy. Yesterday I brewed a 300l brew length but came up 70l short but also over achieved on gravity pre boil. So after adding 70l of water I reached my desired gravity and pre boil OG and made my post boil OG perfectly.
Where/how do I feed the learnings back into BS to make sure next time I run smoothly!
Thanks

The problem is most likely in your equipment profile. The link below will take you to a video that explains how to set it up properly.

After setting it up, you may need to make some minor adjustments after a few batches, but you'll be very close if your entries are accurate.
