Post by: maddspoiler on September 14, 2011, 06:46:36 PM
Just reminding you guys to back up your old recipes. I just lost most of mine from this year cause my computer died yesterday and didnt have them backed up since the release of 2.0... Brewed about 8 beers since then.

You can do an export of all your recipes and save it off on spare HD, etc.

Personally, I use Carbonite online backup services.

Hi,
For BeerSmith 2 - all of the recipes and data is centralized in your Documents/BeerSmith2 directory by default.  So backing up this single directory will catch all of your relevant data.

(Side note: if you use the "Change Data Directory" command to put the data somewhere else, then you need to back that one up instead)
