Modify Ingredient...Modify Recipie

I am not sure quite how to ask this so that it makes sence but here goes... If I add an entry into my brew log today using ingredient "x" and 2 weeks later make a change to ingredient "x" would that change be seen in the brew log from the entry 2 weeks earlier or only on future uses of the ingredient.  In other words if I find out I made an error in the details of an ingredient and later go back and change that what effect does it have on previous enteries?

  No - when you add an ingredient to a recipe it will make a full copy of the ingredient and store it in the recipe record.  Any changes you made to either the recipe or the base ingredient after that do not affect each other since you have two different copies.
