Hi all,

Summer's coming up so it's shandy time. I added lemon and orange peel to my batch during the last 5 minutes of boil, and to get a little extra flavor I was thinking of adding some lemon zest to my brew during secondary fermentation.

Question: Are there any concerns or precautions I should take while doing this? Obviously I'm going to wash the lemons very well, but I'm not sure if this could introduce unwanted contamination that could ruin my beer. Thoughts?

Thank you!
