maybe you could modify the "only if I need to" option?  To include "... dry hop, add fruit, etc."
 
I usually plan to secondary ferment all the time, mostly because I like to play with my beer- probably a bad habit, I know. The timing doesn't always work for me get to it at the right time. If it's a crucial step of a particular brew, I plan more carefully to make sure I'm available to rack it at the right time.
 
I hate moving and I figure the yeast feel the same way.
I only secondary if I dry hop something special or if the beer is really big +8%.
 
Always have, and always will. Get comments about the clarity of my beers. Easy to do and a good precaution for the "funks" if you leave your brew in the primary too long.
