just found a site that will sell me hops @10-15$ a pound but they are mostly from 2012 season. what do you all think?

Buy a pound or two to see how they feel, smell, and taste. If they are crap you've blown a whole 20 to 30 cents! If there good, buy more and store them properly.

Depends on the variety, the reputation of the vendor, the storage temp, and the storage container. Myself, I wouldn't bother based on dollar savings.

Hops Direct is selling hops 7.00 to 18.00 dollars, A lot of varieties are sold out till fail 2014. Fall is when I usually buy hops, rite after harvest time
