Hi,

Just joined so excuse if this question has been on before.
Now I am retired I have time to start home brewing again (its been a few years)
Too late to brew for xmas so I was wondering:
If I were to buy a casked ale (just for xmas) whats the best way to store it.
I wont drink 72 pints in a week!
Can it be bottled or can it be stored in a pressure cask to extend shelf life.
Any help appreciated.

I think we need some clarification on this. Are you wanting a cask that is low carbonated and served with a Beer Engine or directly tapped with spigot or a keg that is fully carbonated and served under CO2 gas pressure through a tap?
