I see on the all grain recipes 2 gravity readings.  There is "Estimated Original Gravity 1.065 SG" and then there is "Measured Original Gravity 1.046 SG".  What is meant by these 2 readings?  Sounds like the Estimate Original Gravity is just that a estimate.  And gravity is measured for the Measured Original Gravity reading?  Just before the boil?

Thanks!

The 'estimated Original Gravity' is the calculated value from BeerSmith's formulas given the malts, equipment profile and mashing profile you have input into the program.  The 'measured Original gravity' is a user input field so that you can track the actual gravity reading you achieved on brew day.

The same fields exist for final gravity as well.
