Remove a grain from mash calculations

Hi, I've been using BeerSmith for awhile but one issue I keep running into is how to handle dark grains.

In recipes where I use a sizable percentage of dark grains, I prefer to hold them out of the mash and add at mashout to avoid astringency.  I want to keep them on the recipe design page without being factored into my mash calculations.  So far my solution has been to make a copy of my recipe and remove the dark grains in order to get my mash schedule, and then use my main recipe to record all of my grain additions.

Is there a simpler way to denote that a grain in the recipe should not be included in the mash?  Thanks

John

You can check Add after Boil. At least that might help with the mash-in volumes.
