Adding Honey to 5 minutes left in Boil
« on: July 04, 2015, 02:33:49 PM »
I know that I can add Honey as an ingredient under the "Add Grain" menu.  In addition I can select "Add after boil".  However, I would like to be able to add honey to the last five minutes of the boil and have it reflected in the "Boil Ingredients" when I view Brew Steps.  Currently, I can only view the Honey in the Fermentation area.

Any ideas?

Steve

Add the honey into your recipe.  Double click on the honey entry and change the type from 'sugar' to 'extract'.  Then you can set the late extract addition time to when you want to add it to the boil.  You can then change the type back from 'extract' to 'sugar' and the late addition time will remain.
Recycle your grains, feed them to a goat!
