Hi,

My old laptop was so slow under Windows 10 that I archived all the data to an external disc and then installed Ubuntu Mint in its place. I now have BeerSmith2 running under Ubuntu, but I want to import my recipes and ingredients etc from the old Windows version. Is it possible simply to move the .bsmx files from my backup drive into Linux. Where are the user recipe etc files stored under the two operating systems?

Thanks
Andy

From the backup, simply copy/paste the .../Documents/BeerSmith2 folder over the same folder in Ubuntu.

DO NOT cut/paste or otherwise change the backup. If for some reason the above advice doesn't work, there are other more time consuming methods. All of your profiles, recipes, custom ingredients and other preferences are in that folder.
