can I get stainless parts at Home Depot to piece together a valve for the brew kettle??I want plenty of threads to
put together and I want a sight glass too..I dont want to spend more than 15 total.

You can certainly get the ball valve at Home Depot or Ace. I think Ace sells stainless nipples and other threaded parts. I don't remember seeing anything but galvanized pipe at HD or Lowes.
