No sound on timer alarm

Hi.

I have noe timer alarm sound on any of my devices.

I am running on an ipad with the newest update. And a Macbook Air also with the newest software.

Booth my BeerSmiths are also up to date.

On the ipad time alarm sound only works when the ipad is in "sleep" mode.

and if i am using the Mac Air no sound comes at all. Anything i can do? Or is this just not working these days?

If you are running El Capitan or Mavericks, try downloading/installing the El Capitan fix here which corrects the timer on the latest Mac OSX:

For the iPad, check the notification settings on your device - under the iPad settings app ->Notifications.  Notifications need to be turned on for the app.
