I've just spotted a bug where the maximum password lengths are different between Beersmith (software) and beersmithrecipes.com.
I use a password manager to generate long, secure passwords for everything. I tend to set them at 30 characters. When I changed my beersmithrecipes.com password a while ago it happily accepted a 30 character password, but when trying to push a recipe to the cloud from Beersmith (software) tonight I found that the max length of the password input is 23 characters. This meant that my password was incorrect because it was missing 7 characters.
It was an easy fix by changing my password to 23 characters so it worked on both, but it would make sense to have a consistent maximum length across the whole ecosystem.
EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm using Beersmith v2.2.12 on OSX
