Importing BeerXML files in BeerSmith 2

I'm trying to import a recipe that I've downloaded as a BeerXML file. When I follow the Help file steps tho, the file doesn't appear as import-able. It seems to me like the import wizard is looking for a BeerSmith file, not a BeerXML file. I'm sure there is something simple I'm overlooking, cuz I see that the ability to do this was added in BS2... So what am I doing wrong?

Go to File->Open and use the file format drop down in the Open dialog to select BeerXML as the format, then select the file you want to open.
