Anyone working on BeerXML v2.0

Is there anyone working on updating BeerXML?  I found a few places that seemed to be promising, but all worked seemed to stop a few years ago.  Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Can anyone help me out?

What is missing from the current version?  Whats lacking? 

Nothing major.  There's just some little improvements that could be made to modernize the language and allow for some more flexibility.

Languages like this are never static, but from what I can determine, there hasn't been any development on this in years.

Language?  Maybe it would be helpful to offer some suggestions.
