Final Gravity Value in BeerSmith

How is the final gravity estimate calculated?  How can I change it (it's 'grayed out')?  The S/W seems to default to an FG of 1.015 for all of my IPAs.  My real target is 1.010, which I routinely achieve.  I'm assuming the S/W is using the 1.015 value to compute final ABV, which is coming in low as a result of my actual FG.

The final gravity is calculated based upon the starting gravity, mash temperature (fermentability of wort), and the maximum attenuation of the specific yeast used.  If you find that a particular yeast is getting better efficiency than published, you can recalculate the apparent attenuation for that yeast and 'correct' it for you system by adjusting the attenuation in the yeast profile.

You don't say if your recipe is extract, partial mash or all grain, so it is hard to comment much further. Perhaps if you post a completed recipe so that we can see your specifics, we can be of further help.

I too would like to see the recipe posted.  Like Oginme says, BS2 calculates based on fermentables and yeast selected during the recipe formulation process.  However, as an experiment, try increasing the maximum Attenuation number for the yeast you have chosen by say... 10%, then refer back to your recipe to see if the FG has changed.  While I don't recommend practicing this method regularly, it may work to test your recipe and the integrity of BS2.  Let us know how it works!  Good luck!!
