Running BeerSmith 2.2.12 on Kubuntu 16.04
When pressing OK in any ingredients BeerSmith core dumps with:
Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_window_get_origin: assertion 'GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

That appears to be a GTK error. Are you running the correct GTK version?

Could be related to this issue

My solution was to abandon kubuntu with KDE and install Xubuntu.
I tested XFCE, LXDE and Gnome.
All other Windowing platform works except KDE.
I guess it has to do with how GTK is working in KDE.
But I miss KDE.
