My lap top failed. I could no longer charge the battery or get it to run plugged in. I pulled the hard drive and put it in a box with a usb that I plugged into my new computer. I have installed beersmith on the new one. It is the latest version but my hard drive has an older version on it. I was able to start the old version on the new computer but can't find my recipes. I looked in the documents/beersmith and they are stored but it has a single file called recipe. Any ideas as to where they might be?

Recover Recipes from old hard drive

Make sure you are looking under the user directory for your main login. Typically the path is something like C:\Users\Brad\Documents\BeerSmith2 - where Brad is my login name under Windows.
