Hello,

I have notices some big differences in IBU calculations in any recipe I have entered since upgrading.  Am I doing something wrong?  I havent changed any settings, but here is a comparison of a recipe entered before upgrading and then reentered after:

Old recipe entry:
15 lbs 0.5 oz        Pale Ale Malt 2-Row (Briess) (3.5 SRM)  Grain        1        86.1 %
1 lbs 6.7 oz          Special B Malt (180.0 SRM)              Grain        2        8.1 %
1 lbs                Rye Malt (Briess) (3.7 SRM)              Grain        3        5.7 %
0.85 oz              Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 85.0 min        Hop          4        36.4 IBUs
0.85 oz              Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 45.0 min        Hop          5        31.4 IBUs
0.85 oz              Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 15.0 min        Hop          6        17.0 IBUs
0.85 oz              Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 0.0 min        Hop          7        0.0 IBUs

And reentering the same recipe  since upgrading:
15 lbs 0.5 oz        Pale Ale Malt 2-Row (Briess) (3.5 SRM)        Grain        1        86.1 %
1 lbs 6.7 oz          Special B Malt (180.0 SRM)              Grain        2        8.1 %
1 lbs                Rye Malt (4.7 SRM)                      Grain        3        5.7 %
0.85 oz              Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 85.0 min        Hop          4        16.0 IBUs
0.85 oz              Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 45.0 min        Hop          5        13.8 IBUs
0.85 oz              Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 15.0 min        Hop          6        7.5 IBUs
0.85 oz              Chinook [13.00 %] - Boil 0.0 min        Hop          7        0.0 IBUs

Since you're reentering the recipe instead of just opening it from your recipes, I suspect something in your equipment profile is different. Perhaps batch size?

I tried a version of your recipe in both 2.2.13 and 2.3.7. I didn't get any difference in IBU from opening the same recipe. The closest I got to your first version was as a 5 gallon batch. I got close to your second as a 15 gallon batch.

Thanks, you were right.  It was the equipment profile.  Although the prescribed batch size was the same, the equipment profile was different.  Once I fixed that, the IBU calculation was the same.
