Beersmith won't run in Windows 10

I had a recent SSD crash and had to install a new SSD.  Of course, that also meant that I had to reload all of my software. I've downloaded Beersmith several times and it just won't run.  "Beersmith2.exe has stopped working"  "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

HELP!

Hmm,

I have installed it several times on different Win10 machines w/o issue, although not the current version from scratch

Ensure you AV is disabled and you are installing it as an admin

Other than that, I'm out of ideas

Thanks however, I've done that without success.

I downloaded the ISO file for 2.2.12, burned it to a disk and successfully installed Beersmith from that.  It was a simple matter of updating after installation.
