Greetings Martin - I have never used any finning agents after dry hop.  So I really cant comment on that subject.  What I can say, however, is my experience has been that the wonderful aroma we get from dry hopping only lasts for about 30 days at best with no finning after dry hop.  In fact, I have read that it is for this very reason that brewers who dry hop make small batches as the "shelf life of aroma", if you will, does not last long.  So, with that knowledge, I can say for certainty that any finning done after dry hop will shorten that span dramatically.

But this is a very interesting subject. I'm going to keep an eye on it to read the opinions of other brewers.

Brulosphy has done some great experiments with this which I have given links to below.  From my own personal experience I have noticed a drop in hop aroma when using a clarifying agent on a west coast style IPA.  This made me stop using these agents on hoppy beers but on a Northeast style IPA I can see why it did nothing in his experience.  The amount of protein from the oats i believe help keep the hop oils in solution.  Unless you are trying to turn a beer quickly I personally find just letting the beer sit cold for a week or two does the same thing as a classifier.

Greetings Martin,
Im a all grain brewer(homebrew). I only dry hop ipa's with in 3-6 days before kegging, but i also add geletin as a clarifier 3 days before kegging. I also like clear beer. But if you have time, the best way i found out is cold crashing . If you plan on botteling , you only wont to cold crash 3 days before bottleing (yeast for carbonation).even if you dry hop. I normally have six weeks total from start to finish. Good luck- Genesee-id
