I am having trouble saving recipes. I have a few recipes in 'My Recipies' folder. But when I create a new recipe and Save it, using the SAVE button I dont know where it goes. The only thing I can do is save it as a .bsmx file.

I am pretty new to Beersmith but unless you have created your own folders you should click on the My Recipes folder in the top left window. Then create your new recipe and when you click the green check mark at the far right it saves into that folder.

The recipe will be created and saved into whichever folder is currently active at the time you create the recipe. Make sure that you are giving your recipes unique names so that they do not overwrite each other.
