Fresh Windows 10 install and Add-ons still don't work

I just finished a reinstall of Windows 10 on a reformatted SSD.  BeerSmith v. 2.3.12 is the only app I have on the drive right now.  When I click on File>Add-ons  and then the green plus sign, all I get is an error message that says "Could not connect to download the list of add-ons from the internet".  I also added BeerSmith to my Windows 10 firewall settings to allow it to get through the firewall.

Any ideas on why it doesn't work?

Something is still blocking access for the program - a few things to check:
   - Check your firewall program
   - Check your antivirus program or internet security program
   - Possibly your router or network is blocking it (very common from work computers).
