Clicking OK to close the recipe on a previously locked recipe will generate an archive edit record even though no changes could be made because it's locked. Clicking Cancel will not. I would expect the behavior to be the same. Since the recipe is locked, no changes could be made, so clicking OK or Cancel would not generate an archive edit record.
