while making a porto and a beer at the same time, and sampling/tasting another...
i screw up my water level in primary fermenter. Missing like 10 Liters!
can i add water in secondary? did i already loose my beer? its a double IPA with dry hoping.
i stopped adding hops since i dont know if am going to empty it in the drain.

Should i let it be and... well, drink the sirup that i probably made?

Any idea?

that is a lot of water! You may want to boil and cool 1/2 the quantity then add the hops you were going to add to the secondary. Might save the day

i decided not to play with it, not add any water.
stopped dry hopping... end result.. may not taste as the designer of the recepie intended.. but still good to drink :)
Thx for the reply

what was that original gravity?  If you intended a double IPA, it's probably looking pretty thick!  Barleywine?
