The aging rate for all White Labs Yeasts in my BeerSmith 2.3.12 database is 10%/month. The default for liquid yeast in the starter calculator is 21%/month, and that is the aging rate for Wyeast,  Giga Yeast, Omega and Brewtek  entries. I don't think that White Labs has discovered a fountain of youth for their yeast, allowing them to age at a rate half that of their competitors. I think that the BeerSmith entries are wrong. I am not sure how this can be corrected, but it should be addressed.

The pure-pitch yeasts do have a lower degradation than other packaging systems.  I based the new age-rate for White Labs based on experimental viability numbers they provided.
