Adding an ingrediant with amount in OZ/Gal
« on: July 09, 2008, 02:29:34 PM »
I have started making ciders and I am trying to add Apple Cider as an ingredient
in the Grains&Extract section. It defaults to pounds and I need it to be in oz&gal.
I know I can add it in Misc. but then it wont show potential yield. What do I need to do?

I personally would figure a little over 8.33 lbs per gallon.  That's the density of water, and cider is only slightly more dense.

I use 1.005 and 11% for Apple juice, I would think that it would be close.
