Looking for a Dial Thermometer with a 6" probe' and a long enough Thermowell

Hi. I am looking for a 'dial thermometer with a 6" probe' (that will fit into a thermowell), and a 'long enough Thermowell'. This set-up is for a Ss Brewtech 20 Gallon Kettle. The port 'hole' size on the kettle is drilled to 7/8" (Came that way from Ss Brewtech).

I have searched online with no results yet.

PS. Not interested in a digital thermometer at this time. I also know I need to have thermal grease for inside of thermowell.

I suggest you get the bulkhead 1/2" FPT fitting from SS Brewtech, then look for a thermowell with a 1/2" MPT threading, the most common size. You can find a variety of such hardware at:

7/8 is a very odd size indeed.  Every Thermo well I?ve seen is a typical Male National Pipe Thread (MPT).  7/8 sounds like it would be a 3/4? FPT (female pipe thread).  I also find it odd that Brew Tech does not sell anything for you to use.

I looked at the SS Brewtech web site, and the port is not a threaded 7/8" fitting, just a 7/8" through hole, and they sell parts to fit in there. The bulkhead fitting to 1/2" NPT (FPT) is listed as fitting into a 13/16" hole. With that in place you have a whole lot of options for thermometers and thermowells.
