What characteristics allow for light hopping in a beer?
rocky_creek said:I'm apparently allergic to hops. I want to put the least possible and not totally destroy taste. Not interested in gruit.

BOB357 said:There is a long history of using things other than hops to provide bittering, flavor and aroma to beers.
Sacred and Herbal Healing Beers and The Homebrewer's Garden are a couple of books that cover the subject.
If you like sour beers, many use almost no hops.
