Brew timer built into Beersmith

W

wbc

I did a search for "brew timer" and found http://www.beersmith.com/forum/index.php?topic=436.msg1790#msg1790 thread.

This suggestion above was written in 2004 and it is now 2008 and I would like to see a brewday timer that would allow times to be set for mash time, hop additions, clairifier additions, chiller addition, etc.  This could be part of beersmith or a separate program that one could use in a laptop or other computer on brewday.  You could imput all the set times and start each timer when needed.  You could use default tones to signafy when each addition is needed or use custom audio files or tones for the alarms.  Your program is used by almost every brewer I know and this addition would make Beersmith even more useful to the brewer:)

More features you could add to this would be some tools for OG to Brix and Brix to OG.  A dilution tool would also help as well as a tool to add sugars at the end of the boil to adjust the gravity.  A brewday notes feature would be good too so important temperatures, volumes, adjustments could easily be typed in.

Thanks for your great program,
WBC
