BS 3 color preview

The preview of beer color in recipe creation was better in version 2, is there any way to configure BS3 to use the previous form?

You can set the color icons back to the BS2 set by clicking on 'options' > 'look and feel' then unclicking the box for 'use new beer glass icons'.

I was surprised when I uploaded all of my recipes from 2.3 over to 3. All of the bright, clear, appetizing colors I had targeted were turned into opaque redish browns and caramel colors. Any insight as to why the color display looks like that in 3 ? It seems like something is wrong with it.
