Suggestion: Incorporate a feature where a user could export recipe ingredients that they have used into a searchable format. What I mean is I want to know how many times I've used C-60 or Cascade hops or how many times i've brewed with US-05 yeast.

Question: Does this feature already exist?

Reason: Maybe I want to see a trend in my brewing. I want to know if I prefer a certain specialty malt so I know I need to order larger quantities, or prefer a certain hop over all others.....

It's an interesting suggestion. BeerSmith doesn't have anything that compiles those stats.

However, you can use the shopping list to compile a list of ingredients used over a certain period of time. Just go to your brew log and add recipes from dates x to y. You now have a total and an average for everything used.
