I see this is very old but figured I ought to clarify as I just went through this.
It is not made by Briess, but by California Concentrate.
I went round and round trying to figure it out as MoreBeer's kits using it had different numbers than when I added those ingredients to the calculator.
It appears as though they just posted the lowest possible ABV is could have though.
According to California Concentrate their LME's are 80 Brix. From what I found it appears as though the Brix scale is a percentage. Therefore their LME's are 80% sugar. I was trying to convert this to PPG.
From what I gather 46 PPG is 100% sugar. So that would give their LME 36.8 PPG.
Can anyone confirm this?
