Hi, im trying to scale down john palmers lady liberty ale to a 13L batch, his efficiency is 75% mine 65%
his losses to trub and boiloff is 3L mine is 9L.
When I try to scale it down the grain percentages change, should I adjust the grain percentages back to the original? Cheers Dan!

In the Scale Recipe window, there's a box for, "Match original gravity, color and bitterness. When checked, the grain percentages will often be altered in order to match the color. As a rule, there's no reason to readjust the percentages.

I've never unchecked the box, but have brewed several recipes on 2 different systems using the scaling tool without finding any identifiable differences.
