Adding water to cider

Is there a way to add water to a cider recipe to see it's affect on the SG?

I would start with the dilution tool which can be found by clicking on 'tools' > 'dilution tool'.  Enter in your volume and gravity, set to dilute with water and you can input varying amounts of water and see the effect on the gravity.  If you have a target gravity, it is pretty much a straight line function to get to the gravity you want.
Recycle your grains, feed them to a goat!
