This has probably been asked a thousand times before; but in BS3 what is the difference between post mash gravity and pre-boil gravity? Or are they they the same?

Post mash is the gravity of your mash. If you then add additional fermentables to the boil... malt extract, honey, sugars etc... that will increase the gravity and this becomes your pre-boil gravity. Otherwise they are bot the same.
