Hello, it seems I cannot get any pale chocolate malt in our country anymore. Any credible work arounds or substitute?

How about chocolate wheat or rye? Carafa Special 1 would be a similar color range (300ish). Another option would be to halve the amount of pale chocolate and use chocolate malt instead and adding an appropriate amount of base malt, if necessary.

Cheers,

Mark

Hello, thanks for the suggestion. The pale chocolate malt is 10% of the grain bill and not only use for its colour.
