Speeping Specialty Grains and Lautering???

I am working on a extract batch in which I want to steep in 1 lb of Crystal 60L and .25 lb of Roasted Barley. This is my first attmept in doing this.

My question is this - Does it do the wort any service to Lauter or rince the grains after I have steeped for about a 1/2 hour at 150F?

Yes it would help to extract all the sugars off the grains if you rinse them with hot water. Try to keep the water less than 170F.
