two best recipes for black and tans

what are your favorite two recipes for making beer for black and tans?  the idea of this intrigues me.  after i finish my first batch of beer, i think i will make batches up for black and tans.  thanks
 
I've made them with my stout and a bit of the Burton ale.  If you keep the gravity of the stout low and pour carefully you can even get the stout to "stand" in the glass above the much heavier ale.

Was also thinking about doing black and tans or one of the various versions (http://www.brutul.com/recipes.php) for some upcoming batches.  Since this post is 9 years old just giving it a pump to see if there are any new suggestions.
