Moving Files, Recipe Folders, Inventory, etc.
« on: July 14, 2009, 07:07:35 AM »
I have had BeerSmith for years and have lots of recipe folders by style, inventory, notes, equipment profiles and so on on my old computer.   I installed BS with on my new computer and put in the product key.   Now I need to move all my old stuff to my new computer.  Can I do that without having to re-enter it manually?   If so, how do I go about this?

All of the data is in the C:\Program Files\BeerSmith directory in individual files like Recipe.bsm, Hops.bsm, etc...

You can just copy those over to your new computer and use the Import command to open them and copy/paste anything you want into your new install.
