No strictly true; there is a fullers discovery clone in the secondary and a kolsch in bottles conditioning. what i need is a recipe i can brew that would be ready to drink pretty much straight away

Anyone help?
 
Get on down to your LHBS and pick up a wheat kit :)  American if you don't like the clove/bananna - German if you do.  3-4 day fermentation; 2 week carb in bottles and you are ready to drink!!!
 
Or a belgian wit.  None of which need a secondary. 
 
Agreed, quick turn around for wheat beers...

try my Amarillo Pale Ale, can be ready in a week, especially if kegging, a bit longer if bottling, and will help you get a hop fix.
