What do you do with a .BSM file?

Sorry for the newbie question but I didn't find what to do with these files BIABmash.BSM and BIAB Keg.BSM
I guess you must update the mash profiles?
 
Bob,
  You can open any BSM file with BeerSmith (these look like mash profiles) and then copy/paste them into your relevant view (for example Mash View or My Recipes view) depending on what type of data you are dealing with.

Thanks, I figured it out myself. I highlighted "File" "MASH Profiles" then chose "the first item in the list" I then chose "File" "Import and Merge"  If you pick "MASH Profiles" without highlighting the first entry then the "Import and Merge" option is grayed out. I don't know if this is explained correctly but "it works"                  BobBrews
