I was wondering if there was any plan to have a Linux version of BeerSmith. I know I can run it using several of the Windows emulators available for Linux but a native program is always better.

btw... I love BeerSmith and purchased it today :)

Hi!

Unfortunately I'm not working on a Linux version yet.  Instead I'm working very hard on making the current Windows version as good as I possibly can.

I've previously programmed both under Linux and Mac, and I like both of them -- but it is still a significant time investment (probably 6 months to a year) to develop a version for Linux.

I'm glad you are enjoying the program - and I appreciate your support!

Cheers!
Brad

I can respect ya for wanting to make the Windows version the best it can be before porting to another OS.. until a linux version is made I'll run it in Win4Lin....
