Actual Efficiency ??????
« on: December 29, 2009, 12:24:48 AM »
Where is this field / value controlled or determined ? I don't recall ever seeing it. I manually changed an extract recipe to partial mash and was having some issues with IBUs etc .... so I then ran the recipe wizard to do the conversion. That worked fine but the hops levels were quite different ---- comparing the 2 recipes I see that one has a Actual Efficiency of 43% and the wizard generated one has a Actual Efficiency of 48% ??   Whats up with that ?

Thanks

OK --- the actual eff is based off of the data you enter on actual OG.

I was getting some really screwy IBU / Hop amounts --- cut and paste error(s). DOH !!!!!!!!!
