Directions on Brew Sheet

B

BigD

I am curious, maybe I did something wrong? When the brew sheet is selected, with the instructions, it doesn't matter what yeast type, it says to ferment at 68 degrees for 4 days in primary and so on. Should it have the temps adjusted for the yeast type?  ???

BigD,
You can easily change that -- lookat the "Fermentation" section on your recipe where it says "Two stage" (most likely).

The temperature and time used there are the ones that appear on the brewsheet.  BeerSmith does not automatically use the yeast defaults since many people have their own fermentation profiles depending on what style they are brewing.

Cheers!
Brad
