Inventory question about beer smith

Am I just not following this correctly, some one please explain or tell me. In beer smith when you have your personal iventory set and you add some of that said inventory to the next brew recipe you are configureing how come it automaticlly does not take the amount used out of your inventory????? Or do I have to copy it to a brew sheet first then it takes it out?

Here is how it is done.
Once you have finalized your recipe in you recipe view, you go to your top tool bar.  Where (Add to list, "Remove from Inventory", "Scale", "Convert" etc.) appear.  If you click, "Remove from Inventory", it will automatically take any ingredients you have in that recipe from your inventory.
