Blonde vs. Cream Ale

What's the difference in practical (not the defined BJCP difference)terms?  If I were to d a side by side comparison of a well made, to style blonde ale and cream ale, what are the differences that would be most apparent?

I remember reading a long thread about this a while back. Can't remember the specifics. The main point that I got was that Cream Ales have a heavier, or more pronounced, mouth feel (creamier). Beyond that, most folks did not see a whole lot of other differences. I assume a hotter mash temp and some specialty grains to enhance body.

i'm glad somebody asked this cuz i was wondering the same thing. i really want to do a cream ale.

For a cream ale, I would expect some amount of adjuncts to lighten the body and make it crisper. 

For a blonde ale, I would expect all malt, but on the light side.
